From 1961 to 1984, the representation was carried out at the level of Charge d'affaires, until the appointment of the first Ambassador in 1984.
Thus:

- From 1990 to 1995:H.E.M. André NGONGANG OUANDJI
- From 1995 to 2003: H.E.M. Philippe MATAGA
- From August 2008 to January 2011: H.E.M Martin MBARGA NGUELE
